Welcome!

I have always enjoyed being crafty. I remember getting really excited about stickers and fun stationary when I was little. Well its good to know that some things in life never change!

I was introduced to scrapbooking in 2005 and have been hooked ever since. My love of crafting has branched out to include DIY, projects, gardening, baking, and canning. I hope to share my projects here.

Sweet Tweets Valentine's Day Treat Bouquet

Here is a Valentine's Day Treat I made. I have bought these clear bags from my Stampin' Up consultant quite a while ago and have been waiting to use them.

I needed to use the Songbird cartridge as part of my own cartridge challenge, so I chose the frame cut from page 62. I cut two and sized them in order to have a shadow layer. I then used my gypsy and the word tweet on page 69 and welded an s to the end I then cut that image twice. I also used a capital S and just cut off the t and s for in order to spell Sweet. The adorable little bird is from Create a Critter on page 65. I flipped the image in my Gypsy before cutting it. I also cut the little flower for her head twice for and extra layer, and used a stylus to give it some shape. I added a gem to the cneter for some sparkle.

The flowers were made using a 2.5" scallped circle punch. The rosettes were made with 1" strips of heart print paper I found in the dollar bin at Target. I used my Martha Stewart Scoreboard to make the rosette. I hot glued a small heart punched from a Creative Memories punch to the center of the rosette. I stapled the scalloped circle to the top of the clear bag, and then glued the rosette to the circle.

The clear bags can be found at www.ClearBags.com
The ones I used are 1" by 8" with a flap seal.

Have a Great Day!
